July 2025:

Our friends at Black Ave Films are premiering their latest film, "Swine and Dine," at Smodcastle Cinemas in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, on July 27th at 3pm. We'll be there...and we'd love to see YOU there, too! For more information and tickets, click here!

The summer may be hot...but we are keeping cool! We were in Buffalo, NY at the end of June to film scenes for "The Lady of Castle de la Mort," a horror-comedy set in the 1940s. Early scenes, along with a new Indiegogo campaign, should be out soon - stay tuned!

June 2025:

The show must go on! And in this case, the "show" is "Apex Predators Club!" A decision has been made to move forward with the film and have it be a tribute to Michael Mahal. A new funding campaign has started - the first one raised almost $200,000 - and we need everyone to contribute to make this final Mahal Empire film the best ever! Go to Indiegogo and help bring Michael's vision to life!

May 2025:

We are heartbroken at the passing of Michael Mahal. Stag Mountain Films exists largely due to the encouragement, guidance and support of Michael. He was a friend, a mentor, a business partner, and a tremendous - and positive - force in the indie film world. Our deepest sympathies go out to his brother Sonny, his parents, his family and friends. He will be missed. May his memory be a blessing.

We are getting ready to start filming "Crimzon Harvest" in NJ this month! This film will star Felissa Rose, Robert Mukes, Angel Nichole Bradford and many more. And after we wrap, come join many of us at the NJ Horror Convention at the Sheraton in Atlantic City on May 17th and 18th!

April 2025:

The indie film world never rests! Congrats to Mahal Empire for raising over $130,000 for "Apex Predator's Club." The film is now InDemand on Indiegogo, so there's still time to join before filming starts in June!

Stag Mountain Films has committed to join on to another film! This will be a psychological thriller. We can't give any details just yet...but it'll be exciting! Stay tuned for more info as we head into the summer.

March 2025:

As previously announced, Mahal Empire has teamed up with writer/director Jason Horton to produce "Apex Predator's Club." The film will shoot in the summer of 2025 in Los Angeles and Puerto Rico. This is going to be a huge movie - the crowdfunding campaign raised over $40,000 in its first few days - and you can be a part of it! Click here for the Indiegogo campaign and more information.

February 2025:

Big news for "Ever After!" Award winning actor Malcolm McDowell has joined the cast as the voice of the Frog King. Post-production on this epic fantasy horror film is moving along smoothly. Check back regularly for updates and news!

"Ever After" completed principal photography this month. It looks SO good and we can't wait for you to see it! Look for its release in the first half of 2025.
